Stay Rainier
Overview
StayRainier.com is the official website for the Sunrise side of Mt. Rainier National Park. Discover the Park's most panoramic side and enjoy activities you won't find anywhere else around Mt. Rainier.
Sunrise is the highest point to which you can drive in Mt. Rainier National Park. At 6400 feet, it is the highest point to which you can drive in all the Cascades. This side of Mt. Rainier is the sunny side, with many more clear days than other parts of the Park. By itself, Sunrise could keep you busy for a week, but make sure to plan time to visit Chinook Pass and Tipsoo Lake with gorgeous reflections of Mt. Rainier -- and the Ohanapecosh area with its grove of 1000 year old trees and majestic Silver Falls.
Combine a visit to Sunrise with a visit to Crystal Mountain, and you have the perfect summer vacation. At Crystal Mountain, take a scenic Mt. Rainier Gondola ride to 6872 feet. From this elevation, you'll get 360-degree views of all the Cascades and one of the best views of Mt. Rainier anywhere.
Enjoy Northwest cuisine at the Summit House, Washington's highest restaurant. Ride a horse to majestic vistas. Play 30 holes of disc golf. Take a cold dip in Henskin Lake or Elizabeth Lake. Come to a mountain yoga class in an alpine meadow. Take a guided walk and learn more about this area's geology, flora & fauna.
Spend a night, a weekend, a week or more. Lodging properties range from basic to luxurious with rates to suit more budgets. Visit our website to learn more.
